WHAT ECONAZOLE NITRATE CREAM IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR
Econazole nitrate cream contains Econazole nitrate that belongs to a group of medicines called antifungals. Econazole nitrate cream is used to treat skin infections such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, ringworm and other fungal infections like cutaneous candidiasis.
This medication can be used also to treat pityriasis, a fungal infection that causes a lightening or darkening of the skin of the neck, chest, arms or legs.
